Cookie Policy

This policy explains what this website stores on your device, and what it loads from other companies. It is short because the site does very little of either.
What we do not do
We want to be specific about this, because most cookie policies are not:
- We do not run cookie-based analytics. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising or tracking pixels. We do run one cookieless page-view counter, described below.
- We do not advertise or retarget. Nothing on this site feeds an advertising network.
- We do not have accounts. There is nothing to log into, so there are no authentication cookies.
- We do not embed social media widgets.
What loads when you open a page
Two font services and one analytics script, and nothing else:
- rsms.me — serves the Inter typeface used for text
- fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com — serve the JetBrains Mono typeface used for figures, prices, and specifications
- analytics.ahrefs.com — counts page views so we know which pages people find useful
None of the three sets a cookie. Both necessarily receive your IP address and browser user-agent as part of the request, in the same way as any file your browser fetches. If you would rather they did not, blocking third-party fonts in your browser leaves this site fully readable in a fallback typeface.
Ahrefs Web Analytics stores nothing on your device: no cookies, no local storage, no identifier that follows you between visits or between sites. It records the page you loaded, the page that referred you, and coarse details derived from the request — country, device type, browser. It does not retain your IP address or build a profile of you, which is why it loads without a consent prompt. Ahrefs acts as a data processor for us; their privacy documentation is at ahrefs.com/privacy. Any content blocker that blocks analytics will block it, and the site works identically without it.
What loads only if you ask for it
Live chat (Crisp). We use Crisp to answer questions. The chat software is not loaded when you open a page. It is only downloaded and started if you press the “Chat with us” button.
If you press it, Crisp sets first-party cookies and local storage on your device so that a conversation survives a page reload and we can recognise you if you come back to an existing thread. It also processes the messages you send, and technical details such as your IP address, browser, and the page you started from.
If you never press the button, none of that happens. That is why this site has no cookie banner: nothing non-essential loads until you take a deliberate action.
Crisp acts as a data processor for us. Their privacy documentation is at crisp.chat/en/privacy.
Forms
The contact form submits what you type to us so that we can reply. It does not store cookies to do this.
Managing what is stored
You can clear or block all of the above through your browser settings — every major browser lets you view and delete stored cookies and site data, block third-party content, or clear everything on exit.
Clearing Crisp’s storage ends the continuity of an existing chat thread. Nothing else on this site depends on stored data, so blocking it does not break anything.
Changes
If we add anything that stores data or calls a third party, we will update this page and date it. If we ever add analytics that store data on your device or identify you, we will name the product and ask for consent before it loads.
